Location:     Hybrid remote / London (Shoreditch) to be agreed

Hours:         Mon-Fri 09.30 – 17.30

Salary:        £26,000 per annum

Job Objectives:   

To be an instrumental player in the delivery of D&AD New Blood’s integrated marketing and communications

Key responsibilities

  • Be the owner, champion and ambassador of the D&AD New Blood audience to drive increased global awareness through strategic customer marketing activities
  • Deliver compelling cross-channel campaigns to acquire and engage target audiences with D&AD New Blood
  • Implement appropriate tone of voice and ensure brand values are represented in communications and interactions with the audience across all channels 
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create and implement the end-to-end marketing plans, campaign calendars and communication tactics for the D&AD New Blood programmes
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to brief freelancers and external creative agencies, and manage through creative concept delivery for integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print
  • Manage and deliver owned, earned and paid online marketing activities including for website, email, social, display, partners and press
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to set up personalised, triggered customer communications
  • Write and effectively position targeted, timely communications and messaging
  • Measure, collate and report on campaign and marketing activity
  • Catalogue all marketing material to provide a historical record of activity and communication and ensure the shared digital filing system is consistent, easy to navigate and up to date
  • Brief our digital marketing agency on paid social and PPC campaigns and work with them to optimise campaign performance and improve conversion
  • Work to KPIs provided by the Marketing Manager, such as email open and click through rates, subscriber growth, engagements, traffic, lead generation, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department as required

 Experience we are looking for:

  • A minimum 1 year Marketing experience required with a good grasp of Marketing fundamentals
  • Ability to write compelling, engaging, on-brand marketing copy
  • Experience working across multiple disciplines, including digital and traditional media, organic and paid, content marketing, brand, and direct
  • A basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools and channels
  • Ability to apply appropriate evaluation methods and techniques for marketing decisions
  • Strong quantitative skills needed to conduct research and interrogate and apply insight from analysis 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confident networker and communicator
  • Competent user of Google Drive/Sheets/Docs/Slides and Excel (preferably Apple Mac)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with ability to manage many projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines - organisational/time management skills are fundamental to this role
